SARAH TINSLEY
Administration-Principal /Teacher- History

Received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Georgia, where she graduated Magna cum Laude. She was awarded a full fellowship from VA Tech, where she received a Ph.D. in Environmental Water Quality. While at VA Tech, she took courses towards a focus in Teaching College. After that, she taught at Gordon College while living in Barnesville, Georgia. She decided to begin teaching preschool to her own children instead of college and has been happily educating ever since! Sarah has been teaching at Coram Deo Classical School since 2004. She is married to Scott Tinsley, and together they have 9 children, 7 of whom are have been enrolled in Coram Deo. Scott and Sarah are faithful members at Faith Bible Church. She also has taught aerobic group fitness for many years as a certified group fitness instructor and is currently teaching at Snap Fitness. Sarah enjoy family bike rides and traveling.

LAURA ALTON
Biology & Physical Science

Laura is excited about joining the  science department at Coram Deo.  She has a great love of science because she feels it truly reflects an amazing Creator.   She has a  B.S. in Biology from Kennesaw State University and a Masters of Medical Science from Emory School of Medicine.  She is a physician assistant practicing  Emergency Medicine. Her goal is to let her love of science and its Designer spill over into her classroom.

Middle School Math & Statistics

Mrs Breeding graduated from Fayette County High School in 1989 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from GA Tech in 1992. She is a professional Engineer in the state of GA. Before motherhood, Laura had a ten year career in engineering consulting. She has been married for 24 years to another Civil Engineer, and together they have three children. Laura has been homeschooling for twelve years. She loves reading, singing, flower and vegetable gardening, crafts, camping and living the rural lifestyle. She and her family are members of a local church.

ANN MARIE BREZINA
Environmental Science

Mrs. Brezina earned her B.S. in Environmental Science and a Minor in Biology from Wheaton College, IL. With a love for adventure and teaching children, she pursued Outdoor Leadership qualifications as a Camp Counselor, Wilderness Practicum Leader, Discipleship Training Leader, and Wilderness Discipleship Trip Leader under the guidance of a certified Outward Bound Leadership Program Instructor at Honey Rock North woods Campus of Wheaton College, WI. She received her M.S. in Science Environmental Education with an emphasis on Outdoor Science Education and Sociology as an Interdisciplinary Degree from the University of Tennessee.  She is currently employed with Point University teaching Science courses, and Coram Deo Classical School teaching Adventure PE/Health, Environmental Apologetics and Classical Astronomy. She is married to Ben and together they have 5 children. Her loves in life are her family, her Lord Jesus Christ, His created wild and untamed earth, anything that takes her outside to adventure His created world with her family as they experience life together.

KRISSY BUSH
1st Grade

Krissy Bush received her Liberal Arts degree from Delta College in California.  After meeting her husband, she relocated to Birmingham, Alabama where she earned a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After moving from Alabama to Georgia, Krissy taught preschool and kindergarten at a local Christian school before deciding to home educate her own children. Krissy is happily married to her husband Tracy and they have been blessed with two very busy boys!  Krissy and Tracy are active members of FBC PTC where together they teach 9th grade Sunday school and are involved with church missions. In her spare time she enjoys being outside playing with her family, traveling, reading, and working out.

AMY COFFEE
American Literature

Grew up on a farm in Hall County Georgia. She attended college at North Georgia College where she received a B.A. degree in English with a focus in secondary education. Amy taught high school English at Taylor County High School and Sandy Creek High School. She also worked as a Constituent Services Representative for Senator Paul Coverdell at his Atlanta office where she specialized in tax issues. Amy loves American and Southern Lit and spends her free time reading, riding horses with her kids and travelling. Amy and her husband Jason have four children, and they are members of White Oak A.R.P. Church in Senoia.

SUSAN DELL
Administration

Susan grew up traveling the world as an Army officer’s daughter. She continued the military life as an officer’s wife when she met and married Patrick at Fort Monroe, Virginia. Susan has worked in various administrative positions over the years, but her main pursuit has been raising and homeschooling her five children. The Dell family joined Coram Deo in 2006 and has been blessed by the support of the teachers through the years and seasons of homeschooling. Two of the Dell children have graduated from CDCS and three are still attending. Patrick and Susan are active members of New Hope in Senoia where they lead a Sunday School group together. In addition, Susan loves small group Bible study, reading, walking outside at the Macey Dell Farm, watching movies and being at home with her family.

MIRIAM DE PEÑA
Spanish I, II

Was born in Puerto Rico in 1963. She was raised in a Christian home by Dominican parents. Her father’s career as a musician forced them to move frequently. She lived in the Bahamas for seven years, where she learned English and became a Christian. She moved to the Dominican Republic and discovered a passion for teaching. She taught in Sunday Schools, summer camps, preschool and kindergarten. After she graduated as a Bilingual Executive Secretary, she began her studies in early childhood education. She also participated in several seminars for Christian school teachers and a Child Evangelism Fellowship training camp. Millie married Jose in 1987 and moved to the United States. Together they have three beautiful daughters whom she home educated and graduated. She taught Spanish to all grades at Fayette Christian School and became a certified Spanish teacher by the Georgia Association of Christian Schools. In 2006, she started teaching Spanish at  Coram Deo to high school students. Millie has been teaching for over 30 years and still enjoys it!

Elementary Art

Graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Business.  She discovered the joy of drawing and painting, while working as a stay at home mom.  Amy taught art to first through fourth graders at Faith Bible home-school coop for 6 years and now enjoys teaching art at Coram Deo.  She also loves to read, knit, and reorganize her home.  She and her family attend Faith Bible Church.

JAMIE FISHER
Algebra I & II, Geometry

Mrs. Fisher heads up the Math department and has developed an amazing math team for Coram Deo. She has been married for over 20 years to Jeff, and they have 3 children: Rachel , Rebecca, and Jonathan. Jamie graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1994 with an Industrial Engineering degree. In April 2000, after the birth of her first child, Jamie and Jeff made the decision for Jamie to stay at home with their baby. She has been a substitute teacher in the Coweta County public schools, and has tutored high school math in her home. She absolutely loves teaching math, and enjoys the opportunity to teach in a Christ-centered environment where she will be allowed the privilege of speaking about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jamie and her family attend Crossroads Church where they have been members since 2000. She has served preschool and elementary children on Sunday mornings for the past 14 years. Jamie’s hobbies include gardening, bible studies, and hanging out with her children.

Mr. Howell graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Christian Ministries with a minor in music in 2004 and from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.Div. in Advanced Biblical Studies in 2007. He has previously served as a youth pastor for various local churches in GA. He has taught a variety of subjects in classical schools such as Bible, literature, history, government, economics, logic, philosophy and grammar.  He is married to Tara and together they have five children: Ethan, Elaina, Emmarie, Ezra, and Eden.

CYNTHIA KINNEY
Administration-Director of Student Affairs 8th-12th

Received her B.S. in Education from Baylor University. After graduating, she taught 6th grade in Arlington, Texas. She resigned from teaching in order to work in her family business as the office manager. She ran the family business for the next few years until moving to Newnan with her husband, Chuck. She and Chuck have 3 children that have been home educated since 2002. Cynthia started as an elementary teacher with Coram Deo, and she now serves in an administrative role working with students, parents and teachers.  Currently, the Kinney family lives in Newnan and are active members of First Baptist Church PTC. Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains at their cabin in West Texas, traveling, singing, fishing, playing games with the kids, and inventing new recipes for her family.

KARLA LAIL
Chemistry

Mrs. Lail studied biochemistry for 2 1/2 years but actually earned her B.S. in Psychology from Texas A & M University in 1987.  She came to Christ in college through Cru (formerly Campus Crusade) and joined their staff, where she met her husband, Chris.  They have 3 children.  She has home educated through CDCS since 2008.  They attend Crossroads Church where they lead middle school small groups.  She enjoys being outside, cooking, and hosting CDCS get togethers.

ANJA LOUTZENHISER
French

Anja was born and raised in Switzerland. Her native language is Swiss German, and she speaks German, English, French and Italian. She received a degree in Law from the University of Zürich and successfully completed her bar exam. She worked at the District Court of Uster and the Appeal Court of Zürich. During this time, she met her American husband Peter Loutzenhiser, with whom she has two children. In 2012, Peter’s job at the Georgia Institute of Technology brought her from Switzerland to Fayetteville, Georgia. Since 2015, Anja enjoys homeschooling their two children, who have attended CDCS since 2018. She and her family are members of Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City.

Pre-Calculus / AP® Physics / AP® Calculus AB & BC

Is a great addition to the Math and Science department focusing her energies on higher level Math and Sciences. She graduated with her Bachelors and Master degrees in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. She is married to Todd, who is also an engineer. She worked as a Project Engineer before the birth of her first child. A mother of 3, she has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for the past 14 years. Anne tutors all levels of math, and enjoys teaching Math and Science at Coram Deo. Her family is active in their church, Evergreen Church of Peachtree City. In the past, she has taught Sunday School, as well as, served as the Director of Vacation Bible School for 5 years.

Music History / Musical Director

LeeAura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music degree (with a double major in Piano Pedagogy and Vocal Performance) from Columbia College in South Carolina in 1987.  She received her Master of Music Education degree in Piano from Belmont University in Nashville in 1995. She & her husband, Michael, have overseen the education of the 4 Marcum children through various home school and private school opportunities, including Coram Deo, Trinity Christian School and Southside Classical Christian Co-op.  She & Michael have been members of Faith Bible Church since 2000, where they serve in the music, media, and AWANA ministries. The Marcums enjoy playing music together, and they have helped lead many Coram Deo performances since 2009.

MARTHA PEACE
Biblical Counseling

Is a rotating Biblical Counseling instructor for Coram Deo. She graduated from as an RN from Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Atlanta, Georgia; and recieved her BSN from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. She is a ladies’ Bible teacher and Biblical counselor to women through the Faith Biblical Counseling Center located at her home church, Faith Bible Church, Sharpsburg, Georgia. She is the author of six books including The Excellent Wife and Damsels in Distress and co-authored with Stuart Scott, the Faithful Parent.  She is currently an adjunct faculty member of The Master’s College.

KATY PEASE
Bookkeeping & Transcripting

Katy is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mary Mount College in Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an undeclared minor in Chemistry. Katy spent her time working with animals and as a microbiologist before coming home to take care of her son. Paul and Katy have one child who is a light in their life. Katy enjoys working as bookkeeper and transcriber for Coram Deo when she isn’t being a wife and mother. Katy still loves all animals!

MICHELLE REGIER
2nd Grade

Michelle has a God-given heart to teach young children to love learning. In the area of formal education, she was blessed to graduate from The Master’s College in Southern California with a B.A. in Education and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduation, she taught in an award winning school district where she was the head kindergarten teacher for four years. After eight wonderful years of educating other people’s children, God blessed Michelle with a wonderful husband who whisked her off to Georgia, and she now has three busy and eager boys to teach and to train. She has homeschooled for the past seven years, as well as teaching 1st grade Sunday school at Faith Bible Church. When she has spare time, reading classic literature, baking, and escaping to the beach are some of her favorite pleasures.

Katie thoroughly enjoyed being homeschooled and graduated from Coram Deo as the valedictorian of the 2010 class. Katie then attended the University of West Georgia and graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. She accepted a position as a middle school English teacher at a charter school for her first two years of teaching and is excited to be teaching at Coram Deo now! In her spare time, Katie serves on staff with her church youth group and loves spending time with her roommates and church college ministry. She also enjoys Marvel movies, musicals, good stories, journaling, and vacations with her family.

TONI SABA
Administration-K-7th, 4th & 5th Grade Math

Has been with Coram Deo since 2008. Studied at Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic in health sciences. She worked professionally for BCBS of GA as a physician and hospital liaison. While living in Savannah, she became a believer in 1985 and attended a wonderful church where she met and married her husband Joe three years later. Joe is a GT graduate and works as a professional electrical engineer in north Atlanta. Joe’s work has moved them from GA to VA and back to GA again. Toni began teaching at home in 1994 and was thankful to find a program like Coram Deo. Joe and Toni have three children, two grown daughters and one son who attends Coram Deo. She strives to balance a love for learning with building in their children a desire to love and serve God with their whole hearts.

Kindergarten & General Science

Anissa is a follower of Christ, wife, and mother of three.  She and her family are members of Faith Bible Church where she coordinates the nursery volunteers and serve in the Sunday School program.  She and her family enjoy spending time together talking about the Bible and issues of the day, cooking, hiking, and taking care of their chickens and ducks. Their family has been homeschooling since 2010 and has enjoyed the adventure of learning together. She graduated Cum Laude with an associates degree from Florida College. Later, she completed Emergency Medical Technician training school and worked as a phlebotomist.

9th and 10th grade Litrature

Kimmy Stagg obtained her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Pre-Law from Georgia State University in 2014 and her Master of Arts in English & Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017. There’s nothing she loves better than good words and great stories, both fictional and factual. In 2019 she taught English at Georgia Military College before coming back to teach High School English (9th & 10th) at Coram Deo. She has been teaching for four years and looks forward to many more. Kimmy married Jacob Stagg at the end of 2019 and in her free time enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and music.

German

Alicia is delighted to be sharing her love of the German language with the bright, inquisitive students at Coram Deo. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and graduated from Furman University in 1999, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in German and Cognitive Psychology. She and her husband Jeff have three sons and are members of Faith Bible Church in Sharpsburg. Alicia enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, and music.

Graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a B.A. degree in Secondary English Education. Amy taught 7th Grade English at Madras Middle School for three years. She also taught 6th-8th grade English at Trinity Christian School for three years before deciding to stay home full time with her son Johnny. She is married to John, children’s pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church, and has two sons: Johnny and James. Amy has been active in church and enjoys reading, crafts, and family time.

Mr. Stout is a former school principal and football coach. He is an active church member of New Hope South, where he has diligently served alongside his wife in many various facets: missions, nursery, children’s, and men’s ministries. He is a dedicated husband and father and an active grandfather, aged 65. He is a gifted teacher and motivator and is excited to use this opportunity to serve our Creator God at CDCS teaching science.

Mary Cate graduated Valedictorian in 2015 from Coram Deo. She earned her BS in Accounting from Clayton State and is currently pursuing her MBA from CSU as well. Mary Cate attends Faith Bible Church.

BECKY WALTER
3rd and 4th Grade Core

Mrs. Walter moved to the area from Southern California in 2018 where she taught sixth, second, and third grades for a Christian school for fifteen years. Previously Mrs. Walter taught in a Christian school for eleven years in Oregon – kindergarten and third grade. In the area of formal education, she graduated from Geneva College (PA)with a B.S. in Education. After graduation Mrs. Walter operated a house cleaning business while raising her four children. When they were all in school, she began teaching. Then after 26 years teaching she and her husband settled in Georgia near their son and family. They are also a part of the Faith Bible Church family. Mrs. Walter loves children and has a heart that desires to guide them in the ways of God. She is so thankful and blessed that the Lord has provided this opportunity for her to teach at Coram Deo.

Mrs. Lail studied biochemistry for 2 1/2 years but actually earned her B.S. in Psychology from Texas A & M University in 1987.  She came to Christ in college through Cru (formerly Campus Crusade) and joined their staff, where she met her husband, Chris.  They have 3 children.  She has home educated through CDCS since 2008.  They attend Crossroads Church where they lead middle school small groups.  She enjoys being outside, cooking, and hosting CDCS get togethers.

ANJA LOUTZENHISER
French

Anja was born and raised in Switzerland. Her native language is Swiss German, and she speaks German, English, French and Italian. She received a degree in Law from the University of Zürich and successfully completed her bar exam. She worked at the District Court of Uster and the Appeal Court of Zürich. During this time, she met her American husband Peter Loutzenhiser, with whom she has two children. In 2012, Peter’s job at the Georgia Institute of Technology brought her from Switzerland to Fayetteville, Georgia. Since 2015, Anja enjoys homeschooling their two children, who have attended CDCS since 2018. She and her family are members of Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City.

ANNE LUPO
Pre-Calculus / Physics / Calculus / Middle School Math

Is a great addition to the Math and Science department focusing her energies on higher level Math and Sciences. She graduated with her Bachelors and Master degrees in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. She is married to Todd, who is also an engineer. She worked as a Project Engineer before the birth of her first child. A mother of 3, she has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for the past 14 years. Anne tutors all levels of math, and enjoys teaching Math and Science at Coram Deo. Her family is active in their church, Evergreen Church of Peachtree City. In the past, she has taught Sunday School, as well as, served as the Director of Vacation Bible School for 5 years.

LEEAURA MARCUM
Music History / Musical Director

LeeAura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music degree (with a double major in Piano Pedagogy and Vocal Performance) from Columbia College in South Carolina in 1987.  She received her Master of Music Education degree in Piano from Belmont University in Nashville in 1995. She & her husband, Michael, have overseen the education of the 4 Marcum children through various home school and private school opportunities, including Coram Deo, Trinity Christian School and Southside Classical Christian Co-op.  She & Michael have been members of Faith Bible Church since 2000, where they serve in the music, media, and AWANA ministries. The Marcums enjoy playing music together, and they have helped lead many Coram Deo performances since 2009.

MARTHA PEACE
Bible

Is a rotating Biblical Counseling instructor for Coram Deo. She graduated from as an RN from Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Atlanta, Georgia; and recieved her BSN from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. She is a ladies’ Bible teacher and Biblical counselor to women through the Faith Biblical Counseling Center located at her home church, Faith Bible Church, Sharpsburg, Georgia. She is the author of six books including The Excellent Wife and Damsels in Distress and co-authored with Stuart Scott, the Faithful Parent.  She is currently an adjunct faculty member of The Master’s College.

KATY PEASE
Bookkeeping and Transcripting

Katy is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mary Mount College in Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an undeclared minor in Chemistry. Katy spent her time working with animals and as a microbiologist before coming home to take care of her son. Paul and Katy have one child who is a light in their life. Katy enjoys working as bookkeeper and transcriber for Coram Deo when she isn’t being a wife and mother. Katy still loves all animals!

MICHELLE REGIER
2nd Grade

Michelle has a God-given heart to teach young children to love learning. In the area of formal education, she was blessed to graduate from The Master’s College in Southern California with a B.A. in Education and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduation, she taught in an award winning school district where she was the head kindergarten teacher for four years. After eight wonderful years of educating other people’s children, God blessed Michelle with a wonderful husband who whisked her off to Georgia, and she now has three busy and eager boys to teach and to train. She has homeschooled for the past seven years, as well as teaching 1st grade Sunday school at Faith Bible Church. When she has spare time, reading classic literature, baking, and escaping to the beach are some of her favorite pleasures.

K AND 4TH GRADE
Katie thoroughly enjoyed being homeschooled and graduated from Coram Deo as the valedictorian of the 2010 class. Katie then attended the University of West Georgia and graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. She accepted a position as a middle school English teacher at a charter school for her first two years of teaching and is excited to be teaching at Coram Deo now! In her spare time, Katie serves on staff with her church youth group and loves spending time with her roommates and church college ministry. She also enjoys Marvel movies, musicals, good stories, journaling, and vacations with her family..

TONI SABA
Administration / 5th Grade: Math

Has been with Coram Deo since 2008. Studied at Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic in health sciences. She worked professionally for BCBS of GA as a physician and hospital liaison. While living in Savannah, she became a believer in 1985 and attended a wonderful church where she met and married her husband Joe three years later. Joe is a GT graduate and works as a professional electrical engineer in north Atlanta. Joe’s work has moved them from GA to VA and back to GA again. Toni began teaching at home in 1994 and was thankful to find a program like Coram Deo. Joe and Toni have three children, two grown daughters and one son who attends Coram Deo. She strives to balance a love for learning with building in their children a desire to love and serve God with their whole hearts.

ANISSA SNYDER 
Kindergarten & 7th Science

Anissa is a follower of Christ, wife, and mother of three.  She and her family are members of Faith Bible Church where she coordinates the nursery volunteers and serve in the Sunday School program.  She and her family enjoy spending time together talking about the Bible and issues of the day, cooking, hiking, and taking care of their chickens and ducks. Their family has been homeschooling since 2010 and has enjoyed the adventure of learning together. She graduated Cum Laude with an associates degree from Florida College. Later, she completed Emergency Medical Technician training school and worked as a phlebotomist.

KIMMY STAGG
5th & 6th Grade: IEW Core, 5th Grade Latin

In 2014, Kimmy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Law & Society. A lifelong lover of words with a penchant for creativity, communication, and investing in youth, she realized that law school was not the best fit for her; and soon after graduation, found the Lord directing her to pursue writing and teaching instead. Kimmy has enjoyed leading young women’s Bible studies, being a substitute Sunday school teacher, and serving as a tutor for fellow students through college. After six years’ working at the Chick-fil-a in Peachtree City, she is looking forward to a new season at Coram Deo and is very excited to instill a love for words and clear communication through writing to this year’s Coram Deo students.

German

Alicia is delighted to be sharing her love of the German language with the bright, inquisitive students at Coram Deo. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and graduated from Furman University in 1999, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in German and Cognitive Psychology. She and her husband Jeff have three sons and are members of Faith Bible Church in Sharpsburg. Alicia enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, and music.

AMY STEINKLAUBER
7th Grade Core

Graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a B.A. degree in Secondary English Education. Amy taught 7th Grade English at Madras Middle School for three years. She also taught 6th-8th grade English at Trinity Christian School for three years before deciding to stay home full time with her son Johnny. She is married to John, children’s pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church, and has two sons: Johnny and James. Amy has been active in church and enjoys reading, crafts, and family time.

Elementary Science

Mr. Stout is a former school principal and football coach. He is an active church member of New Hope South, where he has diligently served alongside his wife in many various facets: missions, nursery, children’s, and men’s ministries. He is a dedicated husband and father and an active grandfather, aged 65. He is a gifted teacher and motivator and is excited to use this opportunity to serve our Creator God at CDCS teaching science.

Mary Cate graduated Valedictorian in 2015 from Coram Deo. She earned her BS in Accounting from Clayton State and is currently pursuing her MBA from CSU as well. Mary Cate attends Faith Bible Church.

BECKY WALTER
3rd grade

Mrs. Walter moved to the area from Southern California in 2018 where she taught sixth, second, and third grades for a Christian school for fifteen years. Previously Mrs. Walter taught in a Christian school for eleven years in Oregon – kindergarten and third grade. In the area of formal education, she graduated from Geneva College (PA)with a B.S. in Education. After graduation Mrs. Walter operated a house cleaning business while raising her four children. When they were all in school, she began teaching. Then after 26 years teaching she and her husband settled in Georgia near their son and family. They are also a part of the Faith Bible Church family. Mrs. Walter loves children and has a heart that desires to guide them in the ways of God. She is so thankful and blessed that the Lord has provided this opportunity for her to teach at Coram Deo.
