SARAH TINSLEY
Principal / History

Received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Georgia, where she graduated Magna cum Laude. She was awarded a full fellowship from VA Tech, where she received a Ph.D. in Environmental Water Quality. While at VA Tech, she took courses towards a focus in Teaching College. After that, she taught at Gordon College while living in Barnesville, Georgia. She decided to begin teaching preschool to her own children instead of college and has been happily educating ever since! Sarah has been teaching at Coram Deo Classical School since 2004. She is married to Scott Tinsley, and together they have 9 children, 7 of whom are have been enrolled in Coram Deo. Scott and Sarah are faithful members at Faith Bible Church. She also has taught aerobic group fitness for many years as a certified group fitness instructor and is currently teaching at Snap Fitness. Sarah enjoy family bike rides and traveling.

LAURA ALTON
Science

 Laura is excited about joining the  science department at Coram Deo.  She has a great love of science because she feels it truly reflects an amazing Creator.   She has a  B.S.  Biology degree from Kennesaw State University and a Masters of Medical Science from Emory School of Medicine.  She is a physician assistant practicing  Emergency Medicine. Her goal is to let her love of science and its Designer spill over into her classroom.

LORI ANDERSON
Elementary Math & Science

Mrs. Anderson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato MN.  She has spent many years teaching elementary children in a variety of settings including public schools, private schools, and a homeschool co-op.  She spent six wonderful years homeschooling her two sons. One of the reasons she loves working with the families at Coram Deo is their passionate commitment to Christ and the priority they place on the education of their children. She and her husband John have three children and attend Sonrise Baptist church.

JOSH AUSTIN
History

Was born in Atlanta and grew up in Fayetteville. He attended Fayette Christian School from K-4 though graduation. He continued with his education and graduated from Liberty University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. After a one-year national tour with the Liberty drama group, The King’s Players, he returned to Fayetteville to teach at F.C.S for two years. After that, Josh varied his work experience with AirTran Airways. He is currently a supervisor and barista at Starbucks Coffee. He loves movies and enjoys reading historical nonfiction. His life changed in an incredible way recently when he married Stephanie and adopted two awesome boys, Gavin and Harrison. They are currently a member of Northside Baptist Church in Newnan.

KATIE SABA
K AND 4TH GRADE

Katie thoroughly enjoyed being homeschooled and graduated from Coram Deo as the valedictorian of the 2010 class. Katie then attended the University of West Georgia and graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. She accepted a position as a middle school English teacher at a charter school for her first two years of teaching and is excited to be teaching at Coram Deo this year!

In her spare time, Katie serves on staff with her church youth group and loves spending time with her roommates and church college ministry. She also enjoys Marvel movies, musicals, good stories, journaling, and vacations with her family.

ANN MARIE BREZINA
Health and PE/Science

Mrs. Brezina earned her B.S. in Environmental Science and a Minor in Biology from Wheaton College, IL. With a love for adventure and teaching children, she pursued Outdoor Leadership qualifications as a Camp Counselor, Wilderness Practicum Leader, Discipleship Training Leader, and Wilderness Discipleship Trip Leader under the guidance of a certified Outward Bound Leadership Program Instructor at Honey Rock North woods Campus of Wheaton College, WI. She received her M.S. in Science Environmental Education with an emphasis on Outdoor Science Education and Sociology as an Interdisciplinary Degree from the University of Tennessee.  She is currently employed with Point University teaching Science courses, and Coram Deo Classical School teaching Adventure PE/Health, Environmental Apologetics and Classical Astronomy. She is married to Ben and together they have 5 children. Her loves in life are her family, her Lord Jesus Christ, His created wild and untamed earth, anything that takes her outside to adventure His created world with her family as they experience life together.

Middle School Math

Mrs Breeding graduated from Fayette County High School in 1989 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from GA Tech in 1992. She is a professional Engineer in the state of GA. Before motherhood, Laura had a ten year career in engineering consulting. She has been married for 24 years to another Civil Engineer, and together they have three children. Laura has been homeschooling for twelve years. She loves reading, singing, flower and vegetable gardening, crafts, camping and living the rural lifestyle. She and her family are members of a local church.

KRISSY BUSH
1st Grade

Krissy Bush received her Liberal Arts degree from Delta College in California.  After meeting her husband, she relocated to Birmingham, Alabama where she earned a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After moving from Alabama to Georgia, Krissy taught preschool and kindergarten at a local Christian school before deciding to home educate her own children. Krissy is happily married to her husband Tracy and they have been blessed with two very busy boys!  Krissy and Tracy are active members of FBC PTC where together they teach 9th grade Sunday school and are involved with church missions. In her spare time she enjoys being outside playing with her family, traveling, reading, and working out.

AMY COFFEE
English

Grew up on a farm in Hall County Georgia. She attended college at North Georgia College where she received a B.A. degree in English with a focus in secondary education. Amy taught high school English at Taylor County High School and Sandy Creek High School. She also worked as a Constituent Services Representative for Senator Paul Coverdell at his Atlanta office where she specialized in tax issues. Amy loves American and Southern Lit and spends her free time reading, riding horses with her kids and travelling. Amy and her husband Jason have four children, and they are members of White Oak A.R.P. Church in Senoia.

MIRIAM DE PENA
Spanish I, II, III

Was born in Puerto Rico in 1963. She was raised in a Christian home by Dominican parents. Her father’s career as a musician forced them to move frequently. She lived in the Bahamas for seven years, where she learned English and became a Christian. She moved to the Dominican Republic and discovered a passion for teaching. She taught in Sunday Schools, summer camps, preschool and kindergarten. After she graduated as a Bilingual Executive Secretary, she bedan her studies in early childhood education. She also participated in several seminars for Christian school teachers and a Child Evangelism Fellowship training camp. Millie married Jose in 1987 and moved to the United States. Together they have three beautiful daughters whom she home educated and graduated. She taught Spanish to all grades at Fayette Christian School and became a certified Spanish teacher by the Georgia Association of Christian Schools. In 2006, she started teaching Spanish at  Coram Deo to high school students. Millie has been teaching for over 30 years and still enjoys it!

JAMIE FISHER
Algebra I & II, Geometry

Heads up the Math department and has developed an amazing math team for Coram Deo. She has been married for over 20 years to Jeff, and they have 3 children: Rachel , Rebecca, and Jonathan. Jamie graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1994 with an Industrial Engineering degree. In April 2000, after the birth of her first child, Jamie and Jeff made the decision for Jamie to stay at home with their baby. She has been a substitute teacher in the Coweta County public schools, and has tutored high school math in her home. She absolutely loves teaching math, and enjoys the opportunity to teach in a Christ-centered environment where she will be allowed the privilege of speaking about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jamie and her family attend Crossroads Church where they have been members since 2000. She has served preschool and elementary children on Sunday mornings for the past 14 years. Jamie’s hobbies include gardening, bible studies, and hanging out with her children.

JASON HOWELL
8th Grade Core, Apologetics/Worldview, English, History, Government/Economics, Greek, Bible Survey

Mr. Howell graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Christian Ministries with a minor in music in 2004 and from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.Div. in Advanced Biblical Studies in 2007. He has previously served as a youth pastor for various local churches in GA. He has taught a variety of subjects in classical schools such as Bible, literature, history, government, economics, logic, philosophy and grammar.  He is married to Tara and together they have five children: Ethan, Elaina, Emmarie, Ezra, and Eden.

CYNTHIA KINNEY
Administration

Received her B.S.in Education from Baylor University in 1993. After graduating, she taught 6th grade in Arlington, Texas. She resigned from teaching in order to work in her family business as the office manager. She ran the family business for the next few years until moving to Newnan with her husband Chuck. She and Chuck have 3 children that have been home educated since 2002. Cynthia started as an elementary teacher with Coram Deo. She now serves in an administrative role working with students, parents and teachers. She has been involved in church planting off and on since 1993 where she performed many administrative tasks. Currently she and Chuck live in Newnan and are active members of First Baptist Church PTC. Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains at their cabin in West Texas, traveling, singing, fishing, playing games with the kids, and inventing new recipes for her family.

KARLA LAIL
Math / Chemistry Support

Mrs. Lail studied biochemistry for 2 1/2 years but actually earned her B.S. in Psychology from Texas A & M University in 1987.  She came to Christ in college through Cru (formerly Campus Crusade) and joined their staff, where she met her husband, Chris.  They have 3 children.  She has home educated through CDCS since 2008.  They attend Crossroads Church where they lead middle school small groups.  She enjoys being outside, cooking, and hosting CDCS get togethers.

ANNE LUPO
Pre-Calculus / Physics / Calculus / Middle School Math

Is a great addition to the Math and Science department focusing her energies on higher level Math and Sciences. She graduated with her Bachelors and Master degrees in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. She is married to Todd, who is also an engineer. She worked as a Project Engineer before the birth of her first child. A mother of 3, she has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for the past 14 years. Anne tutors all levels of math, and enjoys teaching Math and Science at Coram Deo. Her family is active in their church, Evergreen Church of Peachtree City. In the past, she has taught Sunday School, as well as, served as the Director of Vacation Bible School for 5 years.

LEEAURA MARCUM
Music History / Musical Director

LeeAura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music degree (with a double major in Piano Pedagogy and Vocal Performance) from Columbia College in South Carolina in 1987.  She received her Master of Music Education degree in Piano from Belmont University in Nashville in 1995. She & her husband, Michael, have overseen the education of the 4 Marcum children through various home school and private school opportunities, including Coram Deo, Trinity Christian School and Southside Classical Christian Co-op.  She & Michael have been members of Faith Bible Church since 2000, where they serve in the music, media, and AWANA ministries. The Marcums enjoy playing music together, and they have helped lead many Coram Deo performances since 2009.

KIMMY MILLER
5th & 6th Grade: IEW Core, 5th Grade Latin

In 2014, Kimmy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Law & Society. A lifelong lover of words with a penchant for creativity, communication, and investing in youth, she realized that law school was not the best fit for her; and soon after graduation, found the Lord directing her to pursue writing and teaching instead. Kimmy has enjoyed leading young women’s Bible studies, being a substitute Sunday school teacher, and serving as a tutor for fellow students through college. After six years’ working at the Chick-fil-a in Peachtree City, she is looking forward to a new season at Coram Deo and is very excited to instill a love for words and clear communication through writing to this year’s Coram Deo students.

LANCE PARISH
Apologetics

Attended public schools including Booth middle school and McIntosh high school. After high school, he graduated from the University of Colorado with honors in political science. Through his secular upbringing and education, Lance was a committed secular humanist. It was not until he was challenged to examine his most basic beliefs (his worldview) that he began to consider the truth claims of the Bible. Through this critical examination of his most basic beliefs, Lance abandoned his faith in humanism and committed his life to Christ. He works as a professional software engineer and is working on a master’s in theology at the Master’s College. He has completed seminary coursework in philosophy and apologetics at Westminster Theological seminary.

JAIMEE PEACE
3rd & 4th Grade Core

Is thrilled to be returning to Coram Deo this year as the 3rd grade teacher. She graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is happily married to David, a Captain with the Fayette County Fire Department. They began the wonderful journey of homeschooling more than ten years ago, when their oldest child entered kindergarten. They currently homeschool all four of their children. In addition to being a homeschool teacher, Jaimee has taught many homeschool co-op classes, Sunday School classes, and summer Bible classes over the years. She serves on the board of Faith’s Homeschool Co-op. Jaimee and her family are active members of Faith Bible Church. Jaimee enjoys working in her garden, tending to the animals on what she calls her “mini-farm”, taking care of her home and family, and lesson planning for a new school year!

Martha Peace
MARTHA PEACE
Biblical Counseling

Is a rotating Biblical Counseling instructor for Coram Deo. She graduated from as an RN from Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Atlanta, Georgia; and recieved her BSN from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. She is a ladies’ Bible teacher and nouthetic counselor to women through the Faith Biblical Counseling Center located at her home church, Faith Bible Church, Sharpsburg, Georgia. She conducts seminars for ladies on topics such as “The Excellent Wife,” “Becoming a Titus 2 Woman,” “Personal Purity,” “Having a High View of God,” and “Raising Kids Without Raising Cain.” She is the author of six books including The Excellent Wife and Damsels in Distress and co-authored with Stuart Scott, the Faithful Parent. Martha worked for eight years as a counselor to women at the Atlanta Biblical Counseling Center. Her previous work experience also includes six years as an instructor of women’s classes at Carver Bible College and Institute in Atlanta, Georgia and thirteen years as a Registered Nurse (part of that time teaching advanced medical-surgical nursing at Clayton State College). She is currently an adjunct faculty member of The Master’s College. She and her husband, Sanford, have two grown children and twelve grandchildren.

MICHELLE REGIER
2nd Grade

Is returning this year to teach 1st/2nd grade at Coram Deo. She has a God given heart to teach young children to love learning. In the area of formal education, she was blessed to graduate from The Master’s College in Southern California with a B.A. in Education and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduation, she taught in an award winning school district where she was the head kindergarten teacher for four years. After eight wonderful years of educating other people’s children, God blessed Michelle with a wonderful husband who whisked her off to Georgia, and she now has three busy and eager boys to teach and to train. She has homeschooled for the past seven years, as well as teaching 1st grade Sunday school at Faith Bible Church. When she has spare time, reading classic literature, baking, and escaping to the beach are some of her favorite pleasures.

DANIELLE SABA
5th & 6th Grade Core, 9th & 10th Grade English

Graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in English studies and a minor in Film Studies. After graduating, she spent a school year teaching children of various ages in North Africa. Upon returning to America in 2012, Danielle began attending graduate school at Georgia State University to pursue a master’s in Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language. In the same year, she also started teaching at Coram Deo as the 4th grade teacher. In May of 2014, Danielle graduated from GSU and received her Master’s degree. She has enjoyed teaching at CDCS for the past several years and looks forward to continue teaching in a variety of classes. Soli Deo Gloria!

TONI SABA
Administration, 5th Grade Math

Has been with Coram Deo since 2008. Studied at Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic in health sciences. She worked professionally for BCBS of GA as a physician and hospital liaison. While living in Savannah, she became a believer in 1985 and attended a wonderful church where she met and married her husband Joe three years later. Joe is a GT graduate and works as a professional electrical engineer in north Atlanta. Joe’s work has moved them from GA to VA and back to GA again. Toni began teaching at home in 1994 and was thankful to find a program like Coram Deo. Joe and Toni have three children, two grown daughters and one son who attends Coram Deo. She strives to balance a love for learning with building in their children a desire to love and serve God with their whole hearts.

AMY STEINKLAUBER
7th Grade Core

Graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a B.A. degree in Secondary English Education. Amy taught 7th Grade English at Madras Middle School for three years. She also taught 6th-8th grade English at Trinity Christian School for three years before deciding to stay home full time with her son Johnny. She is married to John, children’s pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church, and has two sons: Johnny and James. Amy has been active in church and enjoys reading, crafts, and family time.

ARTHUR TYSON
Middle & High School Science,  Apologetics

Heads up the science department for CDCS. He teaches high school Biology and Chemistry as well as introducing science concepts to our elementary students.He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Georgia. He was awarded a full fellowship to do research for his Masters Thesis at UGA, where he earned a M.S. degree in Agronomy. His first job, teaching biology at Middle Georgia College became his career as he worked his way up to a full Professor of Biology and the coordinator for the Biology Department before retiring with 40 years of experience. Art has done post-graduate work in biology at UGA, University of Kansas, University of Tennessee and Georgia College and State University. He has earned several awards for excellence in teaching and service to Middle Georgia College. Art’s joy in teaching and his commitment to helping home school parents educate their children motivated him to join his daughter, Sarah Tinsley, in teaching at what is now Coram Deo Classical School. He has been enjoying his retirement by teaching home-school students since 2006. He and Catherine married in 1967, and their three children have blessed them with 17 grandchildren. Art and Catherine are faithful members at Faith Bible Church where he has been teaching Sunday School to 5th and 6th graders since 2004. Art enjoys learning and teaching all of the sciences and classical logic to all ages.

Is a great addition to the Math and Science department focusing her energies on higher level Math and Sciences. She graduated with her Bachelors and Master degrees in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. She is married to Todd, who is also an engineer. She worked as a Project Engineer before the birth of her first child. A mother of 3, she has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for the past 14 years. Anne tutors all levels of math, and enjoys teaching Math and Science at Coram Deo. Her family is active in their church, Evergreen Church of Peachtree City. In the past, she has taught Sunday School, as well as, served as the Director of Vacation Bible School for 5 years.

Music History / Musical Director

LeeAura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music degree (with a double major in Piano Pedagogy and Vocal Performance) from Columbia College in South Carolina in 1987.  She received her Master of Music Education degree in Piano from Belmont University in Nashville in 1995. She & her husband, Michael, have overseen the education of the 4 Marcum children through various home school and private school opportunities, including Coram Deo, Trinity Christian School and Southside Classical Christian Co-op.  She & Michael have been members of Faith Bible Church since 2000, where they serve in the music, media, and AWANA ministries. The Marcums enjoy playing music together, and they have helped lead many Coram Deo performances since 2009.

KIMMY MILLER

In 2014, Kimmy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Law & Society. A lifelong lover of words with a penchant for creativity, communication, and investing in youth, she realized that law school was not the best fit for her; and soon after graduation, found the Lord directing her to pursue writing and teaching instead. Kimmy has enjoyed leading young women’s Bible studies, being a substitute Sunday school teacher, and serving as a tutor for fellow students through college. After six years’ working at the Chick-fil-a in Peachtree City, she is looking forward to a new season at Coram Deo and is very excited to instill a love for words and clear communication through writing to this year’s Coram Deo students.

LANCE PARISH
Apologetics

Attended public schools including Booth middle school and McIntosh high school. After high school, he graduated from the University of Colorado with honors in political science. Through his secular upbringing and education, Lance was a committed secular humanist. It was not until he was challenged to examine his most basic beliefs (his worldview) that he began to consider the truth claims of the Bible. Through this critical examination of his most basic beliefs, Lance abandoned his faith in humanism and committed his life to Christ. He works as a professional software engineer and is working on a master’s in theology at the Master’s College. He has completed seminary coursework in philosophy and apologetics at Westminster Theological seminary.

JAIMEE PEACE
3rd & 4th Grade: Core

Is thrilled to be returning to Coram Deo this year as the 3rd grade teacher. She graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is happily married to David, a Captain with the Fayette County Fire Department. They began the wonderful journey of homeschooling more than ten years ago, when their oldest child entered kindergarten. They currently homeschool all four of their children. In addition to being a homeschool teacher, Jaimee has taught many homeschool co-op classes, Sunday School classes, and summer Bible classes over the years. She serves on the board of Faith’s Homeschool Co-op. Jaimee and her family are active members of Faith Bible Church. Jaimee enjoys working in her garden, tending to the animals on what she calls her “mini-farm”, taking care of her home and family, and lesson planning for a new school year!

MARTHA PEACE
Bible

Is a rotating Biblical Counseling instructor for Coram Deo. She graduated from as an RN from Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Atlanta, Georgia; and recieved her BSN from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. She is a ladies’ Bible teacher and nouthetic counselor to women through the Faith Biblical Counseling Center located at her home church, Faith Bible Church, Sharpsburg, Georgia. She conducts seminars for ladies on topics such as “The Excellent Wife,” “Becoming a Titus 2 Woman,” “Personal Purity,” “Having a High View of God,” and “Raising Kids Without Raising Cain.” She is the author of six books including The Excellent Wife and Damsels in Distress and co-authored with Stuart Scott, the Faithful Parent. Martha worked for eight years as a counselor to women at the Atlanta Biblical Counseling Center. Her previous work experience also includes six years as an instructor of women’s classes at Carver Bible College and Institute in Atlanta, Georgia and thirteen years as a Registered Nurse (part of that time teaching advanced medical-surgical nursing at Clayton State College). She is currently an adjunct faculty member of The Master’s College. She and her husband, Sanford, have two grown children and twelve grandchildren.

MICHELLE REGIER
2nd Grade

Is returning this year to teach 1st/2nd grade at Coram Deo. She has a God given heart to teach young children to love learning. In the area of formal education, she was blessed to graduate from The Master’s College in Southern California with a B.A. in Education and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduation, she taught in an award winning school district where she was the head kindergarten teacher for four years. After eight wonderful years of educating other people’s children, God blessed Michelle with a wonderful husband who whisked her off to Georgia, and she now has three busy and eager boys to teach and to train. She has homeschooled for the past seven years, as well as teaching 1st grade Sunday school at Faith Bible Church. When she has spare time, reading classic literature, baking, and escaping to the beach are some of her favorite pleasures.

DANIELLE SABA

Graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in English studies and a minor in Film Studies. After graduating, she spent a school year teaching children of various ages in North Africa. Upon returning to America in 2012, Danielle began attending graduate school at Georgia State University to pursue a master’s in Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language. In the same year, she also started teaching at Coram Deo as the 4th grade teacher. In May of 2014, Danielle graduated from GSU and received her Master’s degree. She has enjoyed teaching 4th grade for the past two years and looks forward to continue teaching at CDCS in a variety of classes. Soli Deo Gloria!

TONI SABA
Administration / 5th Grade: Math

Has been with Coram Deo since 2008. Studied at Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic in health sciences. She worked professionally for BCBS of GA as a physician and hospital liaison. While living in Savannah, she became a believer in 1985 and attended a wonderful church where she met and married her husband Joe three years later. Joe is a GT graduate and works as a professional electrical engineer in north Atlanta. Joe’s work has moved them from GA to VA and back to GA again. Toni began teaching at home in 1994 and was thankful to find a program like Coram Deo. Joe and Toni have three children, two grown daughters and one son who attends Coram Deo. She strives to balance a love for learning with building in their children a desire to love and serve God with their whole hearts.

AMY STEINKLAUBER
7th Grade Core

Graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a B.A. degree in Secondary English Education. Amy taught 7th Grade English at Madras Middle School for three years. She also taught 6th-8th grade English at Trinity Christian School for three years before deciding to stay home full time with her son Johnny. She is married to John, children’s pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church, and has two sons: Johnny and James. Amy has been active in church and enjoys reading, crafts, and family time.

ARTHUR TYSON
6th Grade: Science / Biology / Chemistry / Apologetics

Heads up the science department for CDCS. He teaches high school Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry as well as introducing science concepts to our elementary students.He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Georgia. He was awarded a full fellowship to do research for his Masters Thesis at UGA, where he earned a M.S. degree in Agronomy. His first job, teaching biology at Middle Georgia College became his career as he worked his way up to a full Professor of Biology and the coordinator for the Biology Department before retiring with 40 years of experience. Art has done post-graduate work in biology at UGA, University of Kansas, University of Tennessee and Georgia College and State University. He has earned several awards for excellence in teaching and service to Middle Georgia College. Art’s joy in teaching and his commitment to helping home school parents educate their children motivated him to join his daughter, Sarah Tinsley, in teaching at what is now Coram Deo Classical School. He has been enjoying his retirement by teaching home-school students since 2006. He and Catherine married in 1967, and their three children have blessed them with 17 grandchildren. Art and Catherine are faithful members at Faith Bible Church where he has been teaching Sunday School to 5th and 6th graders since 2004. Art enjoys learning and teaching all of the sciences and classical logic to all ages.

Ann Marie Brezina
Science, PE & Health

Mrs. Brezina earned her B.S. in Environmental Science and a Minor in Biology from Wheaton College, IL. With a love for adventure and teaching children, she pursued Outdoor Leadership qualifications as a Camp Counselor, Wilderness Practicum Leader, Discipleship Training Leader, and Wilderness Discipleship Trip Leader under the guidance of a certified Outward Bound Leadership Program Instructor at Honey Rock North woods Campus of Wheaton College, WI. She received her M.S. in Science Environmental Education with an emphasis on Outdoor Science Education and Sociology as an Interdisciplinary Degree from the University of Tennessee.  She is currently employed with Point University teaching Science courses, and Coram Deo Classical School teaching Adventure PE/Health, Environmental Apologetics and Classical Astronomy. She is married to Ben and together they have 5 children. Her loves in life are her family, her Lord Jesus Christ, His created wild and untamed earth, anything that takes her outside to adventure His created world with her family as they experience life together.
